Jason,
Great warmup today. I loved it. Thank you for monitoring my form so closely and letting other people do whatever they felt like. Also, to the other teams: Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat.

D - we're all winners for being members of the 2007 My Fox Philly Best Gym. Here's to 2008!!!

Also D -"Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat." was that taken from the book of Damian?

And the Chiropractor shall lead the way...

Did you see pieces of the glacier breaking off?

JCB had mercy on you all.

I think JCB mentioned that you were tougher. I think he also said you are crazy. Rich, you have been so quiet on the blog lately with the trash talk I figured I should provoke you.

O.K. my Crossfitpeeps, I will not be in to workout this week. I've been dealing with lower back issues, but this A.M. was rear-ended on my way to work. So my back is now cooked to perfection.

Jason &Pam: Is there anything I can do exercise-wise that won't overly engage/irritate those muscles, or must I resign myself to becoming El Blobbo?

Dr. D.: Clear your appointment book. I want to live in your office.

The pain of not working out is worse than the back pain (see how much I love you?).

Rancheetah ! That sucks. Focus on what you CAN do and not what you CAN'T do. It's better to talk in person. email me.

I had trouble getting on the plane to Anchorage because of those guns. I did not have a license.

But anyway-- Trip was unreal! Truly. Beautiful part of the country. Stayed at 2 different river side camps where all meals were cooked for us. Several strenuous hikes, Mountain biking, awesome sea kayaking, Salmon fishing, etc. Whitewater rafting was canceled because of the rain the night before, the rivers were too dangerous.

It was an REI Adventures trip. They do trips all across the world. Italy is next. I am hooked-- sure beats sitting by the pool all week sipping on Pina Coladas...but that is not bad either. :)

And yes Brooks. MANY pieces of the glaciers breaking off. Global warming is alive and well but nothing you, myself and our kids will ever have to worry about BUT it did make me open my eyes even more to GREEN living. --- Maybe I should get rid of my 2 trucks first. Anyone selling a Prius?

Lepore out.

Manayunk Sport and Social just opened up registration for the upcoming fall DODGEBALL league. Play starts Sept 24th.

I'll still be a gimp and unable to play, but I will totally be geared up in my CF Philly Dodgeball duds, including the pimped out knee socks if Doc D tells me where he got his.

Sam- That trip sounds awesome! I did an REI adventure a couple years ago. It was a bike trip through the national parks out west. Fabulous time. They really know how to put that stuff together.

oh dear, I should have warned the newcomers about how Damien gets on these team workouts. Especially when he loses. That normally cool, calm, exterior gets ah...how shall I put it......frothy. Rest assured though, he loses fair!

Pamela MacElree said...

Rancheetah, rest well, we need no more injuries for you.

I can't believe that Doc D was 'frothy' this morning! Knowing that he'd make a great caption for the CFP-DB team.

Pam, I wasn't there this morning, but I well remember how edgey he got last time... he sounded pretty exercised on the blog here...gave me flashbacks... i think he even dissed my sneakers back then....

Pamela MacElree said...

Oh yes, I remember, your new sneakers were the root of all evil.

Susannah said...

Sneaker-bashing is just not be tolerated. I hope you took a stand to this, Amanda.

Damien! Don't let these people bully you. Your team, aka TEAM STU, had integrity. and we may not have been the fastest, but we were the best looking.
