Sticking With The Theme

Can't get enough CFP! We're doing a 15 minute segment for CNN's Fit Nation on Wednesday afternoon. Just a little blurb about the benefits of kettlebell training.

Wednesday WOD

5 Pull Ups
10 MB Pledge Push Ups - 5L/5R
20 Kettlebell Swings
600m Run

As many rounds as possible in 30 minutes

Check Pam, voted w/ all my emails.

I mentioned to Ward yesterday...

Crossfit BWI is having a Mid-Atlantic Challenge, Oct. 11.

We should get a squad together...anyone down?

Saw that. I might be interested.

Similar to the thing Albany did, just closer and no running is involved.

Any other takers?

So what are you trying to say, Pam, you're not a big fan of running? You had me convinced the 5K was the part you were most looking foward to in Albany.

Can we talk about Ward's awesome playlist last night?

Erica,
AGREED. First round of pick-yer-own-playlist was a success. And since it was a short workout last night, I'm hoping we get to hear the rest of his playlist at some point. Although it was so terminally cool that it might be intimidating to go next. (Did I just say "terminally cool"?)

Who wants to go next? Anyone at 6 p.m. KB tonight, perchance?

Was that you volunteering, Ms. Sinkler? Methinks the answer is yes! In other news, Ward gets crazy cool points for his playlist! And double those for starting with Low by T-Pain - Ward is keepin' it REAL! Holla!

No chance -- not yet. Need to do some updating first.

Also, don't you mean krazy kool?

ALSO, the quote on today's post??

kate said...

Indeed, Jennifer. Someone fancies someone? Let the speculation begin!

Count me in for the BWI Challenge. I now have a Concept 2 rower so if anybody wants to get in some time on it before the Challenge, please let me know. It kicked my ass back in June up in Albany on the hopper event there.

Sounds like 3 for the Mid Atlantic challenge, and mad props for Ward's playlist.

Susannah, you know my thoughts on running, it stops with a thought, at least for any lengthy distance.

As for the speculation on the quote, I have quotes emailed daily so in the event I'm not feeling like surfing for quotes for hours, I use the emailed one, some aren't all that great. Sorry to disappoint.

Oh, Pam... Boooooring...

I was going to create an elaborate story, but I figured it'd be too obvious.

Fancy that.

Rob and anyone else interested, there's a nice video on intro to Concept 2 and rowing technique on the July 30th entry on www.jensgym.blogspot.com

New space=Concept 2's?

One can only hope!

RSR3 said...

Thanks Greg. The Concept 2 is a great machine...I've been using them on and off for 20 years.
