Will The Great One Succeed?

It appears as if The Great One is glowing. The question is will she be glowing after her pull up test? The Great One has had a little over 10 weeks to prepare for her pull up test. She needs 5 full range of motion pull ups in order to win the challenge. The original date was set for Friday, April 11th, however due to scheduling conflicts the test has yet to be executed. Will the extra days to almost two weeks give The Great One the extra pull she needs? We soon shall see. If The Great One pulls this stunt off then I will be running Broad Street.

Speaking of Broad Street, this is the list of people running Broad Street, if you aren't on this list and want to run, I need to know by the end of Wednesday, 4/16.

Susan H
Sam L
Beth W
Susannah G
Lisa P
Erin B

Wednesday WOD

That photo looks like a scene from a Rocky montage.

Pamela, could you be a little more specific on Susan's fitness. Exactly how many chin ups has she been performing in her training. She has to do five to pass her test. How many is she doing now?

At the gym Susan does pull ups at least once out of her two weekly workouts. The rest I do not know, this time (she was challenged to do pull ups in January 2007 as well) she has taken her training into secret, and will not share with us either her methods or her progress.

It's true, my status is strictly confidential. However, I have been strongly encouraging Pamela to do some running the past few weeks. For her sake, I hope she's taken me seriously. :)

Anyone up for some charity dodgeball this Friday night? We are short two people.

You're gonna need another two people. I hear one of the other teams has Lazers, Blazers, and all types of
-azers.

When the names of the people on your team are Miso Rob, Dick Flashdancer, Doc D, and Paminatrix there is no need to worry about such silly things.

Well said. I'm sorry to deny you the amazing abilities of destruction but Demo Man needs to be a responsible student. Just remember the five D's of Dodgeball: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge.

The Great One attempts the challenge tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) at 3:15.

Dick Flashdancer is Rich's alias, Flabio is Sam's.

OMG!!! That is hilarious.

Thanks for being able to record it!! We must be sure to get two things...

1. Each entire full range of motion pull up performed by The Great One.

2. Facial expressions of both involved in this portion of the challenge.
