What's an Elements Class?

Sam Lepore said...

shhhh. I'm trying to think.

Brooks,
I think the "Elements" class is where they teach us to harness Earth, Water, Fire, etc. to increase our powers. Don't quote me on that one, but if it is, I will totally be there....

Off topic, but Jack LaLanne is the 93-year-old pushup guru I was thinking of the other night.

Here he is, trying to imitate Rich with the Superman pushup (or is it vice versa?): http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/03/11/the-art-of-the-push-up/.

Can I just say how much I enjoyed old-school day yesterday? So many hearts and flowers for box jumps. Even though my legs were on fire -- maybe that's what element we were on? :)

Bah! Link is too long. Let's try this:

Sweet!

I've always wanted to be a Planeteer, when do we get our rings?

Pamela MacElree said...

Nice Jen.

FYI...The Elements class is a beginners class. You start off hear, learn the movements that we use in the workouts, take time to work on your intensity level, and then move into the regular CF Class.

Little know fact of the moment: Jack Lalanne is a Chiropractor!

Cliff Claven out!!!!

Pamela MacElree said...

Is he you're role model?

Brooks A said...

Games canceled, I'm coming to the 7. Pam, you working?

DrDamien said...

Cliff Claven is more of a mentor. As you know, trivia and useless knowledge is my true sport. After that Bocce!

Sweat Angel= Rich.

Brooks, nice throwback with the Planeteers. I think I have my earth ring lying around here somewhere.

Dr. D, do you have a Jack LaLanne juicer? Support your bone brethren.

D-Block out.

D-Block is out & she's wrong!
Sweat Angel is not me!!!

Jens- Vice Versa...

Good work this morning guys and last night..

I love Bocce. Where can we play?

Yes, I'll be working on this lovely precipitated evening.

DrDamien said...

There are a few Bocce courts around. My friend said there is a brand new outdoor one in Skippack (equipped with grills for Pam's famous Portobella Mushroom melts).

I was going this morning, but I seemed to have aquired a hip injury at the Bar Crawl this weekend. I'll send the picture to Pam (it may be blog worthy).

Dawn, I don't have the juicer, but I want to try it. Do u have one?

Pam, enjoy the Scottish weather 2night.

Dawn said...

Dr. D- I dont have his, but I do have a juicer. I was seduced one day by a program about juicing, how healthy it is, blah, blah, blah. They didnt mention how much work (and money) it would take. It's a pain to clean and you have to buy 48 tons of vegetables to make a single cup of something. And as expensive as produce is getting these days, you'd be paying a monster grip for a cup of juice that might or might not taste good.

Screw it. Have a V8.

Sweat Angel= Demo?

DrDamien said...

Anyone who uses the term "monster Grip" is cool in my book

Pamela MacElree said...

Anyone up for Bocce, or have a lawn big enough to play in?

Brooks A said...

I have cornhole boards, similar to bocce...throwing things near or in things

Susannah said...

There's an open grass area outside my house where we can play.

Pamela MacElree said...

I forgot to ask what cornhole boards are. Sounds very Beavis and Butthead.
