Squat, Bench, and Deadlift

This is some really strong work for anyone let alone a 21 year old kid. He almost makes it look easy.

You'd think that first DL lift only had 100 lbs on the bar until you see the bar bend on the lift.

WOD

3 Pull Ups
5 Presses Left/Right
5 Deadlifts
10 Weighted Sit Ups

10 Rounds

Barry,
Great workout this morning. I loved the strength emphasis. I think there might be some sticky stuff on the floor b/c my feet were moving really slow on the agility drills.
PS The kid in the video is awesome. It shows you how important technique is b/c he doesn't look that big. Great motivator for some O-lifting.

With the exception of maybe his last squat, the rest of lifts look effortless. He's moving around some nasty numbers.

So Dr. D are you saying you need to work on your agility in addition to your 135lbs one handed snatch?

I think that fellow has a future in lifting really heavy objects in some far and distance lands with a lot of people named Magnus cheering him on...That's a lot of weight.
I don't know Dr. D, It hought you were laying down some pretty sweet moves between the cones this AM.

Although i'm not exactly for the use of a power suit, weight belt, and knee wraps, those were some sick numbers. With a name like Magnus you can't expect the kid to be weak.

And I didn't notice anything wrong with the floor this morning

I was thinking I was going to wear my
powerlifting suit tomorrow AM. Mine is red and it has legs and arms, not just a big diaper like the King is wearing. I don't need the knee wraps...they just get in the way when the butt hits the heels.
I thought the floor was particularly sticky over on the Doc's side of the room...that's where I was doing my one armed pull-ups and sweating like a really sweaty guy.

Rob, I didn't notice you doing your one armed pull-ups. I must have been on the other side of the room doing clapping hand stand pushups for no apparent reason. sorry for the confusion.

You wouldn't have noticed me doing the pullups because I found a single nail to pinch between my thumb and forefinger to pull up on. It was hanging from the ceiling, not the rafters. But good job on the pushups!
