Mother and Daughter Team Up at CFP


2/17/06 WOD
2 Rounds of:
10 Presses L/R
30 Alternating Swings
10 Push Presses L/R
30 Alternating Swings
10 Jerks L/R
30 Alternating Swings

Use 3 different weight increments, lightest for the presses, heaviest for the jerks. The weight that is used for the overhead work should be the weight that you use for the swings.

Alternating swing - Is that where you basically play catch with the weight at the top of the move?

Start with the weight in the right hand, swing up, let the weight go at the top, catch w/left, return to bottom, swing up in left, let loose, grab w/right...etc?

25lb db for presses
35lb db for push presses
45lb db for jerks

Had to break up my jerks on my left side.

Well, that was eye opening...

yesterday morning

22 min

35 lb plate w/handles built in for the presses & all of the swings.

50 lb db for the push presses & ugly jerks. I wasn't too comfy tossing around the 50 db (swings or jerks).

I did get quite a bit of attention from the gym owner & others that were around while playing "catch" with myself.
