The Great One keeps her name, for now...

The Great One postponed her fitness test for a trip to the British Virgin Islands. Did her trip help or hurt her efforts when she returned to complete her goal of 6 pull ups followed by 300 burpees in under 20 minutes? You can watch her video here.

She said she searched high and low for a place to practice her pull ups and we finally have evidence to prove it.

Remember, anyone can ask for a fitness test to be prepared for them.

Sam, February 17 will be your lucky day because on that day both Susan and I will be re-taking the pull-up portion of our fitness examination.

I would like to commend the Great One for her performance during her fitness test. Only two months ago, I saw her training for the test. Her "pull up" consisted of dangling from the bar for about 15 seconds without the slightest upward motion. At that point, my evaluation of her chances at the fitness test can be summed up in the two words "No Way". Just getting three pull-ups at the test was a minor miracle! She did a great job.

Hey Pamela and Jason-Jason, are you familiar with a Dominic Arioli? He's a kettlebell certified instructor here in Rochester, and I'm thinking of training with him. He said he knows who you are and is also familiar with Crossfit Philly...what do you think??

Hey Jodi,

I do not know Dominic. Send me an email at jason@crossfitphilly.com to discuss further.
